A notional idea for a performance installation for fashion, based on the idea of the post modern gothic.

The viewer would look down into the space , where they would see a set containing a long wedding dress connected to all sides of the space, and a wig which is connected to the ceiling by long pliable extensions of hair , the idea being that the set becomes the costume and the costume becomes the set.  The performer is embedded in the costume , thus creating restricted possibilities for movement . As the performer pulls against the restraints of the costume , the illusion is created that the entire space is actually moving .
